In Q1 2026, the U.S. DOT will announce five cities selected for eVTOL air-taxi operations, and Archer Aviation will begin regular flights around those cities starting in summer 2026.

Archer Aviation's (and peers') eVTOL fleets in cities like New York will scale from tens of aircraft initially to hundreds of aircraft over a five-to-ten-year period following launch.
